Team Works...

The Giant Canada Women's Cycling Team was formed in early 2007 out of a need to develop and align some of the top female cycling talent on the west coast and Alberta. The mandate of the team is to encourage and foster the development of next wave of Canadian Olympians by providing supportive and positive team culture for athletes to grow within.

The women's cycling team has exceeded goals by rarely finishing off the podium in several Pacific Northwest race series including victories at BC Cup Harris Roubaix, BC Cup Race the Ridge overall, Enumclaw criterium, and the BC Jr Road Race Championships.

The team hopes to build on this early success by aligning itself with new like minded partners who employ teamwork towards a common goal. With this increased support the team will continue to seek and develop riders for the future and grow the program from Regional to National to International in stature.
